Years ago, Robert and Judy met in St. John’s while completing the Bar Admission Course. Upon Call to the Bar, they both worked at the same local law firm and later moved to Toronto. A shared vision to return home to live and work in Newfoundland and Labrador culminated in the formation of Manning Bradbury.

Robert Bradbury, Partner

“As a Partner here at Manning Bradbury, my relationships with our clients and team are what I find most rewarding and motivating. Building trust and comfort is essential. I was drawn to practice at home here in Newfoundland for the opportunity to build meaningful connections while contributing to a strong sense of community. As a firm, that’s what makes us unique – our direct work and relationships with clients. When you work with Manning Bradbury, you’re really working with Manning and Bradbury.”

Judy Manning, Partner

“From an early age, I’ve been inclined to challenge the status quo. Naturally, a career in law was a perfect fit. I enjoy the genuine camaraderie and flexibility that we can incorporate into our practice as a smaller, general law firm. We’re a small but mighty team. Our clients feel comfortable here; they feel supported and that really is our goal.”

Gobhina Nagarajah, Associate Lawyer

“I am an Associate Lawyer here at Manning Bradbury, an active community member, and a human rights activist. I chose a career in law because I am passionate about helping people to understand their rights and to effectively navigate complex legal issues. To sum it up: being able to advocate for people through their legal process and helping underserved populations is highly motivating for me personally.”
